Broadstone Resourcing

Executive summary

Slack Communications provided copywriting services and case studies for Broadstone Resourcing’s new recruitment website, and supported it with a SEO strategy aimed at improving its search results.

Challenges and objectives

Broadstone Resourcing is a financial services recruitment agency that provides a highly-personalised, bespoke client-candidate matching service. Founded in 2011, the company counts national and international iconic sports bodies, FTSE 100 and Fortune 500 companies, technology, hospitality and leisure organisations among its happy clients.

In April 2014, Broadstone Resourcing decided that a total rebrand of its digital profile was necessary to take business to the next level.

It wanted its new website to be fresh, concise, SEO-friendly and above all, to reflect the business it had grown to become over the three years, with a focus on clients, candidates, future employees and suppliers.

How we helped

Slack Communications was brought in to deliver a full revamp of the agency’s digital content, including new web copy, candidate case studies and client testimonials.

In addition, we have supported the company’s blogging and SEO strategies.

The results

The new website has received a great deal of positive feedback and the refresh has had a noticeable impact on the business.

Broadstone Resourcing reported: “The number of applications received via the website has increased. Whereas beforehand we were uncomfortable referring clients and candidates to our website as it was out of date and wordy, now we do so with pride.”

“Working with Slack Communications is like having our own in-house communications team. They are friendly and great fun to work with while being efficient, informative and total experts at what they do. We could not fault their service and would absolutely recommend them. In fact we are continuing to work with them in developing a content plan for our entire online estate and have recommended their services already several times.”
